About Dakatra Misr

Dakatra Misr is a free directory of 49,001 doctors and clinics across every governorate of Egypt, with their addresses, opening hours, ways to reach them and their patients' ratings. It exists so a patient can find the right doctor nearby in a minute, with no sign-up and nothing to pay.
Who we are
The directory is published by the CairoStack team at dakatramisr.com. We build and maintain the directory ourselves, and write the Dakatra Misr guides, in Arabic, that help you choose a specialty and a doctor.
Where the data comes from
Most doctors in the directory did not register themselves. We gather what the doctor or their clinic already published so that patients could reach them, from public sources:
- Google Maps: addresses, opening hours and ratings
- Clinics' Facebook pages and websites
- Booking platforms and public medical directories: specialty, qualifications and the published consultation fee
We merge what several sources say about the same doctor into one page, and re-check it regularly so hours and numbers stay current. Every rating shown carries its source, and the reviewer's name and date as published there.
How doctors are ordered
The order comes from one formula applied to every doctor, built from how complete their details are, their ratings and whether they can be reached. No doctor pays to be listed or to rank higher. The full method is in how we rank doctors.
How the site is funded
The directory is free for patients, and being listed is free for doctors. We cover its costs with Google AdSense ads, and may later offer ad spaces that doctors can book. Every ad is clearly marked "Ad", shown apart from the ranked results, and changes no doctor's place in them. What these ads collect about visits is explained in the privacy policy.
Correcting or removing a listing
If a doctor's details are wrong, or you are a doctor and want your page updated or removed, write to [email protected]. We act on doctors' requests within 30 days at most, and most much sooner.
What the directory does not do
Dakatra Misr helps you reach a doctor. It does not give medical advice, does not book appointments on your behalf, and does not vouch for the care any listed doctor provides. In an emergency, call an ambulance on 123.
